Dennis Denno is a small business owner and has extensive knowledge of politics and the Michigan legislature.  Mr. Denno founded Denno Research in 2004.  He knows what corporations, candidates, and issue-advocates need in a pollster.  Most importantly, Mr. Denno knows the power that well-timed, quality polls have on a political or marketing campaign.  For over 20 years, he has helped organizations, candidates, and elected officials shape issues and communicate with constituents.

Currently, he is state Senator Virgil Smith’s Chief of Staff.  In 2010, Mr. Denno was nominated by the Michigan Democratic Party as a candidate for the Michigan State University (MSU) Board of Trustees.  Since 1992, he has worked for various Democratic candidates and campaigns.  He frequently is invited to discuss politics and polling on various TV shows and on the news, on the radio, and in university classrooms.

He received his Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his Master’s degree from the University of Michigan.  In addition to his involvement in campaigns and polling, he is a lifetime member of the MSU Alumni Association and a Board Member for ACCESS, one of the largest non-profit community service organizations in metro-Detroit.  He enjoys traveling in the United States and overseas and following MSU sports.
